What’s Old Is…New?

So I'm set to work on some new stuff, but you'll also be seeing some of my older stories coming out again with new covers. I have my rights back (or am soon getting them) for a few older stories I'm going to breathe life back into.

And another week has rolled around. Ah, thou dreaded Monday!

On a good front, I’ve turned in the fourth book of my contemporary series to Sourcebooks. Hurray! I remember last December when I signed the contract, realizing that they liked book one, but I’d have to write three more by October. I’d padded my dates, giving myself extra time to write, edit, get feedback from beta readers, and edit some more.

I sure am glad I gave myself the time, because I got slammed with edits over the summer and nearly lost my brains, leaking out of my ears, at the amount of work I had to do for seemingly all my publishers at the same time.

But I knew, come October 2013, that I’d be feeling SO good to be done the hard part. And let me tell you, I am. I’ve been slacking the past few days, and I need to get back on the writing wagon. That and staying away from sugar, but that’s another story.

Three of those four stories were only available at Loose Id when they were out, so I’m hoping to tease you into trying them if you haven’t already. Mirror, Mirror will release Oct 29, just in time for Halloween. It’s a fun novella about a guy and girl who finally give in to desire…with the help of a cursed ghost. Beware menage magic.

Saturnalia takes the Christmas holiday in a Roman direction, when Allegra is chosen to satisfy a god and his lover in a sexy rite devoted to Saturnalia. Hmm. More menage. I’m sensing a definite trend.

Satyr’s Myst and Willa’s Wish are books 3 and 4 in my Satyr’s Myst series. They will be re-releasing in February 2014, so stay tuned for those. (I already have the cover for Willa’s Wish, and it’s AMAZING. Teaser above…) I’m also planning to bundle the set at a lower price for a short period of time. Bonus, yep.

In the meantime, I’m working on new projects for Samhain, myself, Loose Id, and hopefully EC. Yeah, not enough time in the day, I swear. And what with the new TV season coming into play (Hel-lo American Horror Story!), I’m not writing at night like I should. But hey, at least I’m back on track with my schedule. AND I’m getting a new pair of funky reading glasses. So cool.

Now, on with the week. Happy Monday.
