Excuses…and What’s Up

Excuses are like…well, you know what they’re like. And yeah, everyone’s got one. I certainly have mine. Lame, every one of them. Granted, I’m always busy working. Usually doing edits for one book while writing another. But I should have been posting, and I haven’t. So, a big sorry to those of you who actually read these–I’m back!

I’m drinking Backporch Roaster’s Peru blend this week, and I have to admit it’s pretty darned smooth. I like it. I’m used to a rich oily bean, and these beans are light brown and full of flavor. Nice. The picture above is THE coffee mug I use daily. I love it, and it fits neatly on my coffee warmer, so even better.

Book 1

I’m currently working on several things at once. I’m just about done edits on both A Major Seduction and A Major Distraction, books 2 and 3 in my military Good to Go series which begins to release May 6th with A Major Attraction.

I’m also working on a proposal for another series, but not sure where that one will go, if it even goes anywhere. My hush hush project, to keep you all interested. *grin*

Galley edits are nearly done on How to Handle a Heartbreaker, book 2 in my McCauley Brothers series that’s available in ebook AND mass market!

Book 2

So exciting. Heartbreaker releases in August, but I’m having a contest offering the print book in my newsletter (bottom of the website home page). Check it out for a chance to win. Last day to enter is April 30th.

On other news, I’m teaching an online class about how to write spice up your fiction. The class is two weeks long and starts May 5th. Don’t miss out! It’s going to be fun and frank. For details on how to attend, see this link to the Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers. (You don’t have to be a member to get the class. They’re hosting it.)

The Dark Fates anthology I’ll be a part of come August has a Facebook page. Check it out for news and details of the coming anthology.

I think that’s plenty of links for a Monday. Now, back to coffee, a proposal, and then edits. Yippee.
