Monday, Monday

Well, it’s been a productive weekend. I finally finished the first draft a LONG project. I was shooting for 80000 words and hit 94000. Well, I’m still in the ballpark. I’m content with the product, and now the fun starts. Editing. I edit as I write, but now it’s more intensive. In a day or so I’ll send the story off to some beta readers for that double check. Then more edits. Polishing, then I send it off to the publisher. Only to wait a few months for…you guessed it…edits. Ha.

So my morning: drinking coffee, working. I’m hoping to go see the new Riddick movie at some point this week, a reward for completing the book. Go, me.
