Impatience–Be Thy Name
I have no patience, I freely admit. It KILLS me to have to sit on anything. The reason I normally wait until closer to Christmas to buy holiday gifts, because if I purchased them now, I'd be tempted to give them early...that and I have a bad habit of forgetting where I hide them. Nothing like giving a hat and scarf set to the kiddos at Easter time, in the spring after the snow's melted.
Come on! Let’s go! Show it already.

I’ve been sitting on the cover for Prey & Prejudice, which releases in December, for weeks. Weeks! It’s killing me. But I’m trying to bide my time, so when I whip it out for all and sundry to see, you’ll be properly amazed. I’m thrilled because it ties in nicely with the cover for By the Tail. Hint…think green and cats.
I’ll be doing a cover reveal in the next week or so. However, today is Monday and I’m ahead of the curve. Yes, I’m posting early Sunday evening so you’ll see this first thing in the AM on Monday. My September newsletter is out, and hey, it’s still September. I’m trying to be proactive and not reactive–a state I normally live in. Enjoy your Monday while I drink coffee, work on edits, and continue to thank my beta readers for such valuable feedback, delivered so quickly too. I’m an impatient person on a tight schedule, and those women really delivered. Talk about a fast turnaround with invaluable input. I’m spoiled. *grin*
