Apologies and an Update

Wow. It’s been so long since I’ve posted something not related to a new release, I can’t believe it! But hey, I have a some good excuses, so bear with me. Between ferrying my kids all over the place, meeting deadlines, and going back to school, I’ve been UBER busy. Thus something had to be sacrificed, and it’s pretty much been my presence on social media. Much as I love Facebook, it’s not as important right now as doing edits, studying for finals, or getting one kid to his basketball game on time while the other finishes rehearsing for the Nutcracker. While I miss writing full-time all the time, with only my books to think of, I think I was getting into a rut. Sure, I have contact with people outside my home. I’m not a hermit…all the time. LOL But now I have to manage my time wisely, and I’m out interacting with people, getting new ideas for characters and conflicts. Hey, I’m on a college campus. Imagine the melodrama. *grin*

As far as my writing goes, I’d built a little bit of free time for the end of the year, and it’s been nice. I recently turned in a fun science fiction menage that should release in February. I have a contemporary novel releasing Dec 30th, and more coming in 2015 (updated through April on the Coming Soon page). Next on my writing docket is a return to my demons, dragons and angels in Ethereal Foes. The first two books will re-release in the summer with new covers, followed by a brand new book 3, Havoc & Hell: A Dragon’s Prize. The 2015 schedule–I’m still dithering about writing more Cougar Falls stories or writing a fourth Ethereal Foes book, so feel free to chime in to what you’d like to see. I also have planned three big contemporary romances to follow my sexy McCauley Brothers books. The McCauley’s cousins, the Donnigans, are raring to go. So you’ll see a return of those stubborn McCauleys. Not sure on the timeline yet, but with any luck they’ll be published practically back to back. And that’s it so far. Now I’m back to studying for my final tomorrow morning. Wish me luck!
